Having trouble authorizing your account on the Influence ID app? If the issue is that "Your Instagram account hasn’t switched to a Business Account," don’t worry—this is a common issue. Follow the steps below to resolve it:
- Open the Instagram app, go to Edit Profile, and select Switch to Professional Account.
- Choose a category that best fits your profile.
- Decide whether you're a business or a creator.
- Enter the relevant information for your account.
- Link your Instagram account to Facebook.
- Select the Facebook Page you want to connect or create a new one.
Once your account is switched to a Business Account, you can proceed with the Continue with Facebook process.

Not anymore! Influence ID now integrates both Instagram and TikTok within the app. Influencers on Influence ID can use both platforms to participate in a variety of available projects.
Your participation in a project is entirely up to the advertiser, so we cannot guarantee approval. However, here are a few ways to improve your chances of being selected:
1. Improve Your Follower Quality
Advertisers can review your follower profile before deciding to collaborate. Avoid buying followers, as suspicious data may reduce your chances of approval. You don’t need a large following on Influence ID—earnings are based on the impressions your content generates, not your follower count.
2. Enhance Your Content Quality
Advertisers typically consider the quality and creativity of your content. Focus on producing engaging, high-quality content. Additionally, advertisers tend to avoid influencers with too many sponsored posts. Maintain a balance between sponsored and organic content.
3. Boost Your Engagement Rate
Engagement is another factor advertisers look at. Ensure your engagement rate is solid, as some advertisers require a minimum, often above 5% for micro and nano influencers. To boost engagement, interact regularly with your followers, such as by responding to comments on your posts.
After submitting content, we will process your earnings within 14 days for Image & Video Posts and 5 days for Story Posts before they are added to your account balance. Once you have a minimum balance of 50,000 rupiah, you can request a withdrawal, which will be processed within a maximum of 24 hours.
In the Discover menu of the Influence ID app, you can find various ongoing projects to apply for. If no projects are available, here are some possible reasons:
1. You’ve already applied for all available projects
To check the projects you’ve applied for, go to the My Projects menu and open the Pending Confirmation section. There, you’ll find a list of projects waiting for approval.
2. Your Instagram account lacks insights
For Instagram-based projects, your earnings are determined by your account's performance. This is why Instagram insights are required to assess your earning potential. If you registered with a Business Account, make sure you have content such as Image Posts, Story Posts, or Video Posts that generate insights.
3. I recently uploaded content but no projects are appearing in Discover
If you’ve just uploaded your first content with insights, it may take up to 24 hours for the system to capture your performance data. After 1-2 days, projects should start appearing in the Discover menu.
On the Instagram app:
- Open Settings and go to Account.
- Select Switch Account Type.
- Tap Switch to Business Account.

On the Instagram app:
- Go to your Profile and tap Edit Profile.
- Select Page.
- Choose either Create a New Facebook Page or Connect an Existing Page.
The page you connect to your Instagram Business account can be selected during the Facebook authorization process in the Influence ID app.
Instagram Account Not Switched to Business
If your account is still a personal profile, follow these steps:
- Open Settings and go to Account.
- Select Switch Account Type.
- Tap Switch to Business Account.
After switching, you may be prompted to choose an existing Facebook Page or create a new one to link to your Business Account.
Mismatched Business Account and Facebook Page
Ensure the correct business account and Facebook Page are selected. You can edit the settings to choose the appropriate account during authorization.
Instagram Account is Private
Make sure your Instagram account is set to public when registering with Influence ID.
Minimum Follower Requirement
To join Influence ID, your Instagram Business account must have at least 1,000 followers.
Minimum Post Requirement
Your Instagram Business account must also have at least 15 posts to be eligible.
Facebook Freemode Not Allowed
Avoid using Facebook Freemode during the authorization process, as it may block certain permissions.
Incomplete Facebook Permissions
Ensure all Facebook account permissions are enabled to proceed with the authorization.
